A group of Italian and Albanian scholars compiled a report based on Albanian media monitoring regarding the imbalance of women and girls image, "Sexualization of Girls and Women In Albanian Media".
As We Want You , "(No) As you want us to" put emphasis on sexist language, exploiting the image of women in the media and raising awareness of civil society over such phenomena.
According to the collected data, the report notes that there are many online photo / video content and not just such content:
- a woman with her mouth open to remember oral sex
- women with open legs, photos focusing on the genital organs as a gesture to imitate sexual intercourse
- women without face
- exaggerated skirts, makeup, highlighted eyebrows, large eyes broadcasting a wrong body image of women
- women portrayed near a man, where they look submissive and available for sex.
Some of the photos are in the following, while others can be seen in the full report.
Search is based on music and video ads, photos distributed across social networks and online media.
Since we are in the latter, the only article by Anabel.al, which, according to the researchers, transmits an erroneous image is the one that tells about how to make eyebrows look fuller. In fact, we have talked about this "Barbie Effect" phenomenon (from thick eyebrows to cellulite) in another case when we ironically summoned some of the "sexiest legs of Albanian girls" at the time when different gates boomed from an infertile debate on long legs and short ones.
As we have pointed out at the end of the previous article , whether eyebrows or cellulite, Anabel is never treated as a disease from which we must surely escape, but simply as something that annoys some of the women why not discern some ruse.
