Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, has apparently reacted to the new rape allegations against her son-in-law Jay-Z.
Shortly after the rapper was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl along with Sean "Diddy" Combs in a civil lawsuit, Knowles, 70, liked an Instagram post from ABC 7 Chicago that shared details of the allegations — which Carter categorically denied.
Jay Z, 55, was named as a defendant in the lawsuit, which was originally filed against P. Diddy in October. A woman who identified herself as Jane Doe said Jay Z and P. Diddy raped her at a 2000 MTV Video Music Awards party while a third, unnamed woman looked on.
The Instagram post liked by Knowles featured a photo of Jay Z and Diddy with the words, "Breaking News: Jay-Z and Diddy Named in Lawsuit Alleging Rape of Girl."
Carter married Knowles' daughter Beyoncé in 2008, and the couple have daughter Blue Ivy, 12, and twins Rumi and Sir, 7, together.
