Maybe your breakfast is to blame for not losing weight

You may be trying hard to lose weight, but you still feel like you are not succeeding. Why? For many reasons, but perhaps the secret lies in the mistakes you make with breakfast.

1. Do not eat breakfast to save calories

Not eating breakfast may seem like a good way to cut calories from your diet, but in fact it is a trap that makes us gain even more weight. Some studies say that people who skipped breakfast are more likely to eat more at other meals. This means that, if you have not eaten breakfast, as soon as you see a hypercaloric food the brain and body start working in a state of hunger and it is almost impossible to resist without eating it, even in much larger amounts than normal.

2. Eat foods that are high in carbohydrates

It may seem to you that a croissant or a sweet pancake gives you energy in the morning, as well as sweetens your coffee, but these foods hold more sugar than we should eat throughout the day. According to doctors, a woman should consume a maximum of 24 grams of sugar per day (6 teaspoons), while a breakfast dessert contains 44 grams.

However you do not have to completely avoid sugar in the morning. A piece of dark chocolate is highly advisable in the morning!

3. Eat healthy, but leave some foods unattended

You can eat eggs and drink milk, but do not take care to get the right amount of vitamins that come from fruits and vegetables. It is advisable to consume 2 grains of seasonal fruits, and 3 of vegetables. For example, in summer you can eat peaches, while in autumn you can eat persimmons, apples or pomegranates. The same goes for vegetables.

You can also mix fruits and vegetables in a healthy smoothie meal, according to your favorite flavors.

4. Eat a lighter breakfast than other meals

Because of the time, we are often forced to eat something small before we run out, and increase the amount at other meals.

But the saying "Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a poor man", is very true when it comes to maintaining body lines, but also health in the body. Even if you eat the same amount of calories throughout the day, when they are greater in the afternoon meals, you tend to gain more weight.

Dinner should never contain 2 times the calories of breakfast.
