
Matthew Perry, known as Chandler Bing in the famous series "Friends", has passed away at the age of 54. The actor was found dead in his home, in the "Pacific Palisades" neighborhood in Los Angeles today, and it is thought that the cause of death was suffocation.

According to sources, early in the morning, Perry returned home after a game of pickleball and asked the assistant to run an errand for him. Two hours later, the assistant found him in the jacuzzi, unconscious, and called an ambulance.
So far, it is said that the use of narcotics is not included in the cause of the actor's death.
Perry disappointed fans of the much-loved series "Friends". He played the role of Chandler, a man who had sarcastic jokes. Mattheë has often spoken about his difficult life, since 3 years after the debut of the series, he was involved in an accident and started an addiction to painkillers.

Perry was born on August 19, 1969 in Massachusetts, and his mother, Suzanne Marie Morrison, was a journalist and served as press secretary for former Prime Minister of Canada, Pierre Trudeau, while his mother, John Bennett Perry, was an actor and model.

At the age of 15, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion as an actor and in 1990, he became part of the cast of the series "Sydney", then "Home free". However, he won the most famous role in the comedy series "Friends", where he played the role of Chandler Bling for 10 seasons.

In 2022, he published a memoir: Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Things: A Memoir, detailing his fame, health struggles, and drug and alcohol addiction. In the book, he confesses that he was in a coma for 2 weeks and spent 5 months in the hospital fighting for his life, after colon problems, from the heavy use of opioids (medicines used to reduce pain).
