
Milan Kundera, the author of "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", has passed away at the age of 94. He was born in 1929 in Czechoslovakia and in 1975 he moved to France. Kundera stands out as a writer who has "two homelands", firstly for Czechoslovakia and secondly, the country that hosted him, France.
Kundera died at his home in Paris, after an illness from which he was suffering. He has given literature masterful works, where among others we mention: "Identity", "Joke", "Farewell Waltz", "Slowness", "Slowness", "Immortality".
Kundera has brought some very interesting human perspectives and his reflections are what have made him one of the most respected authors of his generation.
