National Geographic's "Best of the World" list , one of the most read magazines of all time, reveals some of the best destinations for 2023. Respect - for people and their cultures, for the earth and its conservation - is the main topic of the list, which is divided into five main categories.
"When something amazes you, you treat it with respect. And that spirit is something we want to encourage with this list," said National Geographic editor Amy Alipio.
The list focuses on places that focus on community, heritage, ecotourism, inclusive travel, etc.
