King Charles III was officially announced as the new reigning monarch of the United Kingdom on Saturday and immediately went viral on the Internet.
Before signing the Accession Proclamation - which officially marks his ascension to the throne of the British Commonwealth - the monarch made several hand gestures asking his aide to clear the desk where he was to sign the documents.
The objects that concerned the king were a pen case and an inkwell, which were given to him by sons Prince William and Harry.

People on the Internet started with memes and irony. "The servant must clean the table. I can't move things,” someone wrote. "No nerves on the first day of work," said another.
"I'm not a fan of his, but seeing as he's just lost his mother and has to do so many things and take on a new position while not having a few minutes to himself, maybe we should be more understanding," he says. another.
“Do you think he didn't know the queen was in her last days? He should have prepared for his duties,” another commenter shot back.
Referring to the criticisms, there are those who point out that in 2022, the assistants should not be treated as servants, while others point out that the king is seen speaking and may have asked them politely.
