The ultimate challenge of going viral online includes milk crates, balance, and some painful drops. In the trend that recently started on TikTok, participants take a series of milk crates unsafely piled up in the shape of a pyramid, trying to climb to the top and then retreat again without falling.
As videos of people falling in pain go viral on social media and garner millions of views, doctors across the US are trying to warn people of the dangerous injuries that can occur.

"Maybe it's even worse than falling down the stairs," Shawn Anthony, an orthopedic surgeon, told the Washington Post.
The Baltimore Department of Health called out to people in a Twitter post:
"With Covid-19 on foot, please check if the nearest hospital has beds available for you, before doing the #milkcratechallenge!"
The milk box challenge is the latest in a host of no less dangerous challenges that have gone viral on the platform. In a statement on the latest challenge, a TikTok spokesman said:
"TikTok prohibits content that promotes dangerous actions. We encourage everyone to be careful with their behavior, both online and offline. ”
