“We women, taking care of the family, fulfilling the obligations at work, and even socializing with other family commitments, often forget a very important thing; taking care of our health. It is our duty to take care of the children, the family, the parents and the relatives. Just as it is our responsibility not to neglect taking care of ourselves in the first place. The pandemic has had its effects on our lives. Unfortunately creating delays in routine health checks, especially in women. Therefore, in this pink October, I would ask every woman to take only 30 minutes of her time, to do a breast self-examination and to have a mammogram, ”Manastirliu said in her message.
The Minister of Health said that mammography is already provided in every regional hospital.
"Our breast cancer early diagnosis program has provided mammograms to every regional hospital from north to south and this service is free. Only by having good health, taking care of ourselves can we women unleash our full potential, in fulfilling our mission of raising children, caring for the family and developing society. I believe in the strength of example. "
