Kylie Jenner is exploring Europe this summer, and her next stop was Greece. But as always when it comes to someone from the Kardashian-Jenner clan, nothing goes without a hitch.
On July 12, Kylie dined at Tassia, a family-run restaurant in the village of Fiscardo, where she was warmly welcomed by the restaurant's owners, Polychronis and Tassia Dendrinos. They posted on Instagram calling her presence an "honor," writing:
“An iconic entrepreneur and global trendsetter experienced our Greek hospitality and cuisine. It was a true pleasure to have her as a guest.”
They even said they hoped to "wait for him again soon."
In the photo, Kylie appears in a white dress, open cleavage, summer aesthetic, everything you would expect from a post of hers. This is exactly what her followers didn't like at all.
After the post, the networks exploded, with many users calling the restaurant's words "ridiculous", "servile" and even calling for a boycott of the restaurant.
One commenter wrote:
"Do you treat regular customers like this too or just when Kylie comes?"
Others expressed themselves bluntly:
“Now I know where not to go in Greece.”
However, there were also those who came to the defense of the Dendrino family, emphasizing that the post was pure and very clever publicity:
"If a post about Kylie brings them more customers, good for them." "Did they get mad because they thanked a celebrity for sitting in their restaurant?"
Kylie is in Europe with her daughter Stormi (7) and son Aire (3), while her partner Timothée Chalamet is currently in Budapest filming “Dune: Messiah.” The couple was, however, photographed earlier this month walking hand-in-hand in Saint-Tropez.
Meanwhile, Kylie shared a gallery of photos from Greece with her followers, including the white dress she wore during dinner at Tassia. In some photos, she appears with her close friend Anastasia Karanikolaou, sitting at a table waiting for the food.
