Nearly a year after their departure from the royal roles and the subsequent disconnection from their Instagram account @SussexRoyal, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly decided to leave all social networks.
A source close to the couple told the Sunday Times that Meghan and Harry "do not plan" to return to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook to promote the Archwell Foundation and of course, are not even considering setting up a personal account.
According to the source, the reason behind this decision is all the hatred they have received online.
Meghan has spoken before about how she has been constantly bullied on the internet, during the time she was part of the royal palace and how this has damaged her mental health.
"I was told that in 2019, I was the most ridiculed person online. "Mental and emotional health is damaged when others say things that are not true to you."
