The internet was shocked to see that Taylor Swift, the ex-girlfriend and Sophie Turner, the ex-wife of Joe Jonas, were seen leaving a restaurant after having dinner. Arm in arm and smiling, they got the world's attention, because let's be honest, it's a rare occurrence.
People called their date "iconic", others said that finally, Sophie can freely listen to Taylor's songs, and sources and eyewitnesses said that their evening was fixed as it should be: with martinis, chats, talks and hugs.
"Sophie looked happy and enjoying the evening," an eyewitness told ET, adding that they had a lot of fun together, drinking martinis, talking and laughing.
Another source told ET that the chicks have "always had fun and respected each other."
"They are fans of each other and have been friends for some time. Sophie didn't care that Taylor dated Joe. This has happened long before in the past. "Taylor has a great time with Sophie and they had a great night out."
Sophie and Joe ended their marriage after 4 years. They got engaged in 2016 and married 3 years later. Together they are parents to two daughters, Willa, 3, and another 1-year-old daughter, whose name has not been released.
