As tradition would have it, Ukraine is the place where Eurovision is expected to be held after being announced the winner of the 2022 festival. Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne (AI: PBC) will be offered the first proposal. But in wartime, this remains questionable. If that's impossible, which countries could organize it instead of Ukraine?
United Kingdom
It has happened before that when the winning country refused to host Eurovision, the second place developed the spectacle. Sam Ryder of the UK was ranked second this year, so the UK is an option.
Spain
La Vanguardia reports that Spanish broadcaster Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE) has offered to host Eurovision 2023 in Spain.
poland
Poland is one of Ukraine's closest allies during the war, so some media outlets report that Polska Television (TVP) has expressed interest in hosting Eurovision 2023 if it is impossible to host in Ukraine.
Sweden
Swedish authorities also appear to be open to hosting Eurovision 2023.
(Again) Italy
Mayor Stefano Lo Russo proposed Turin as a potential host, stating that the city is ready to host Eurovision again next year if Ukraine will not be able to host the festival.
