Kozeta Kurti for the Song Festival: "What did you catch up with Elvana?"

Kozeta Kurti for the Song Festival: "What did you catch up with

The ART Festival of the Song Festival was also followed by strong debates this year. The debate is not about the public, because as you can see in the following poll conducted on Anabel Magazine on Facebook (more than 7000 votes) and @Anabel_Hostel on Instagram (nearly 20,000 votes), interest is low,

Kozeta Kurti for the Song Festival: "What did you catch up with

but with the artists whose song was rejected. Elvana Gjata's participation in the Festival for the first time was followed by rumors that the singer has been announced a winner from the beginning.

In an Instagram post, Kozeta Kurti, once a spokesperson for the Festival, writes, among other things, that "if Elvana Gjata goes to the Festival with a good song" because she does not believe that for the first time at the Festival Elvana will compete with an unprofessional song, "What Bad Would It Have To Win?".

"If Elvana Gjata goes to the Festival this year, if Elvana Gjata really has the best song at the Festival (that I don't believe Elvana will go to the Festival for the first time with an unprofessional song), what a bad thing she would have won ? It's been confirmed, it's been invested, so why not?

The following adds:

1 - The question is different: Does Elvana really have a song that she submitted to the Festival on set deadlines or did her name come up earlier than the song itself? (If so, what is Elvana's fault? How can we account for someone who can set conditions? We must actually account for those who accept conditions, not those who set conditions).

Kurti then questions the fact that Elvana's name is being used for noise shortly before the Festival.

2 - The suspicion and need for investigation goes even further: If Elvana has not yet delivered a song (and according to Festival rules, not according to the rules of the organizers) she can no longer, is her name being used for noise and only a little long before the Festival, let's face the headlines: "Elvana Long leaves the Festival" and this was a "done service" for Arilene? I recall that two years ago, when I was a press spokesperson for the Festival, or PR in contemporary language, everyone can remember the words: Arilena wins the Festival (while Arilena didn't deliver any songs).

She further writes that "artists cannot withdraw from competition because they have signed penalties":

But how can this be justified, as we are entangled in an arrangement signed by the singers? It is not the contract that artists ?accept winners? announced. It is a misinformation of the media. It is an agreement that has forced participants to sign up to confirm their presence. So, tomorrow, the next day, don't you dare say "I'll back down."

And this is perfectly reasonable, given that the organizers of this year's Festival, have to sign contracts with high financial penalties in their private productions (while not paying any grain). At the festival at least, the song is bought.

Kurt's post ends like this:

?3 - Or is the opposite happening? A compromise with Arilene (since we focused so much on her name before Elvana's name came out). For people to run after her, and in the end the race looks right. "

In her post, one follower writes that during the Festival's history, "she has never seen a song better than the winning song." "These excuses for many singers that I don't know the winner, [let's try] take part in a super song and see the myth break," he writes.

Full comment:

?We're one of the only places, let alone the one, that we just know to put stress on the singers at festivals, especially the winners. Pre-festival charges, post-festival charges, stress before Eurovision and stress after it. They are not to blame and I trust them when singers like Eugent have used painkillers from the great pressure we exert.

Then what's wrong with winning Elvana or Arilena? Both very good artists and as you said, I do not believe that they will participate for the first time with any songs. Let's enjoy the festival, that there will be a winner. If not Elvana, Arilena. If not, another.

After all, as a festival viewer, I've never seen any other song in better competition than the winning song. I remember in 2017, when Eugent won the public backlash. And if the jury had chosen another winner, the public was ready to "strangle" the jury. These are the excuses of many singers not to know the winner, to participate in a super song and to see the myth broken. "
