Former footballer Klodian Duro was excluded from the "Big Brother VIP" competition due to shocking statements about domestic violence.
Duro - arrested in 2020 for violating the protection order and for threats - threatened on "Big Brother VIP", saying that "beware of me because when I beat my wife, I know how you look to me?".
Through a black envelope, BBVA production announced:
"Residents, during the dinner after the show last night, a serious, unacceptable statement was made that contradicts the rules of the program as well as the norms of the society in which we live. Big Brother has decided to immediately disqualify Klodian Duro from the competition. Big Brother draws the attention of all residents of this house to be very careful in their words and actions related to violence."

Before becoming part of the house, the former footballer mentioned allegations of domestic violence, but preferred not to comment on them. The recent statements are being criticized quite a bit by people in online comments.
In a good part of the comments, followers appreciate the action of the BBVA production, while there are others who emphasize that a character accused of violence should not have become part of the program.
