The vaginas - or more precisely, the vulva - come in different shapes, sizes and colors. The vulva is not the vagina. The vagina is a muscular canal 7-15 cm long that runs from the cervix, the lower part of the uterus, to the outside of the body. The vulva is the entire outside - including the labia, urethra, clitoris and vaginal opening. Usually people say "vagina" to the vulva.
According to a former depilator for the intimate area, there are five main forms of vulva. The following names are not medical terms, but refer only to the appearance considering labia majora (outer lips) and labia minora (inner lips).
