Jennifer Lawrence and her partner, Cooke Maroney, became parents of a son in February of this year.
Lawrence, very private about his family and especially his son, finally shared his name, in an interview for "Vogue". She said the baby's name is Cy and then mentioned the difficulties of parenting and the unique experience that every mother goes through, before, during pregnancy and the feelings she experiences afterwards.
She remembered the times when she thought she wouldn't love her baby more than her cat, or in fact, love them both equally. "Everyone said I will love the baby more than the cat. But this is not true. Maybe I will love him as much as the cat?", she said and then explained that after the birth she immediately fell in love with her son.
"The morning after I was born, I felt like my whole life started over. As if it were the first day of my life. It just started. I was just very much in love." She also added that she immediately falls in love with babies, everywhere.
The actress claimed that now that she has become a mother, she sees the world with different eyes, clearer, even though more tired. "My heart has expanded and has a capacity I wasn't aware of." Jen said that together with her husband, they think about all the stages that the baby will go through. "He will walk, he will cross the road. One day he will drive. He will be an idiot teenager”…
All this shows that now Lawrence loves her baby more than anything, unfortunately even the cat.
