Guests attending the Diesel show at Milan Fashion Week may have been surprised by a giant mountain of condoms.

The Italian brand presented the Fall-Winter 2023 collection against a background of over 200,000 Durex boxes, emphasizing the importance of sex as well as the upcoming collaboration with the condom company.

"We love playing at Diesel and we mean it," artistic director Glenn Martens said in a statement. "Have fun, respect each other, be safe."

The whole collection was inspired by the theme of freedom, pleasure and curiosity to experiment.

Since becoming artistic director in October 2020, the Belgian designer has steered Diesel — long known for provocative marketing and luxe jeans — toward more experimental designs.
