In the latest episode of "The Dalina Show", various Albanians shared their stories of singleness - not out of regret, but to show that behind the "single" status lie deep stories, strong emotions, wounds still unhealed, and a constant confrontation with oneself and the world.

East
"I've been single for 11 years. I have a child. My relationship with my partner ended because he was too jealous."
After being married by arrangement – ??due to traditional family rules – Linda felt she was never truly included in the relationship.
"I don't know how I said 'yes' to that man. I didn't like him from the start."
But even now, 11 years later, the acquaintances for him have become a minefield. Everyone seems interested in only one thing:
"Every person I know brings the conversation to sex. Even a neighbor, who knew me through family and everything, after 2 weeks of knowing me, brought the conversation there."
Through social networks, the situation is even more serious:
"The girls who write to me on Instagram just say 'you're super feminine'. I dress very seriously, but they still tell me: 'Even with clothes on, you look like a super feminine.' I've developed a complex. They've always looked at my breasts since I was a teenager."
Linda no longer accepts acquaintances that start hastily, without emotional connection.
"I'm bothered by people who ask for sex too quickly, without even getting to know each other on the smallest level. I don't think that's getting to know each other."
She is determined not to compromise, but she is also honest about the loneliness that sometimes grips her:
"I haven't been dating anyone for two years. I'm categorical about these types of relationships. But in my loneliness, I feel the desire to have someone by my side."
Brunhilda
"He disappeared. No contact with the boy. I have been living with my son for three years in Italy."
Brunilda lost her mother in 2015. There she began a relationship that seemed promising – she got engaged in 2016 and gave birth to a son in 2019, while she was alone in Perugia.
"I accepted his child as mine. His parents never accepted me. And then, one day... he just disappeared."
She doesn't know the reason yet.
"Our relationship was super good until the moment we returned to Albania. I don't know what happened that changed it immediately. My son said to me one day: 'Find me a father who doesn't run away.'"
Although there have always been questions, there have never been answers.
"It's not that I want a comeback. But it's left me with a puzzle. I need a 'why.'"
Now she focuses on herself and her son:
"I feel very fulfilled as a woman and as a mother. I'm open to a new relationship, but I'm taking it slow right now. I want to find myself - I wasted my adolescence taking care of others."
Good morning
"I've been betrayed twice. After the divorce, 5 years alone with my daughter."
Jetmira confessed that she felt broken as a woman after two betrayals, especially after the first - with the person she had the child with.
"Your pride as a woman is gone. After the divorce, for years, I didn't look for anyone. The girl was the priority."
Now she has learned to read the "red flags" from the beginning. And she is skeptical of new relationships.
"They were both foreigners. I didn't want an Albanian partner because they are still very patriarchal. Here in Belgium, people are cold. By adapting, I have become a little like that too."
Family pressure and prejudice have been strong:
“I had to keep the divorce hidden from my parents for a while.”
But she is already a stronger version of herself.
Andy
"Goats don't like simple boys."
In a story unlike any other, Andy shared his frustration as a single man in his 30s. He works in an all-male company... and they're all single.
"Girls today only want guys with companies, cars, money. I don't have the nerve to chase anyone."
With a life that goes from work to home and the neighborhood bar, Andi admits that he is in a phase of reflection:
"Maybe it's age, maybe it's fear. I want a stable relationship, but I don't want any more boredom. My mom asks me: 'Have you found someone?' But where can I find him? I tell her."
