Between 2000 and 2006, a record number of women, for a variety of reasons, including inspiration from Pamela Anderson on "Baywatch" and other similar icons, placed breast augmentation implants. After the American Federation of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a new type of implant in 2006, the conditions were created for the growth trend of breast augmentation, becoming the most widespread procedure in many countries.
Recently, however, reports indicate that there has been a marked reduction in this procedure, and in addition, many women who have had implants are having their removal. The new trend is not without reason. What are the reasons?
1. The implants themselves.
Implants are not permanent and the longer a woman holds them, the more likely she is to need surgery to replace or remove them.
2. When size matters
For many of us, fitness is important. But oversized implants can make running and toning movements of the upper body difficult.
3. Health issues
Neither silicone nor quality implants cause breast cancer, studies have shown. However there is a concern regarding mammography. Implants make it a little harder to control 100% of breast tissue, especially if placed on top of the chest muscles.
Arsye të tjera janë edhe:
- rrjedhje e implantit
4. Ndikimet kulturore
Cultural preferences for body shapes go in and out of fashion. Renaissance painters adored women with shapely shapes, in the 90s skinny bodies were in vogue and so on. Nowadays, names like Kim Kardashian have put the emphasis on big backs. The buttocks are like the chest in the 2000s.
5. Changes in personal approach to the body
Many of them feel more in shape without implants and safer with bikinis. Women's different approach to what is attractive has greatly influenced. Many have realized that having confidence in what you are and loving your natural body is just as sexy.
