Chanel's luxury brand logo is one of the easiest identifiers, compared to others. Over the years, the two interlocked C symbols symbolize money, style, and intrigue.
People have been constantly trying to explain the logos in question and the theories have resulted in the most varied.
Gabrielle Coco Chanel designed the well-known logo in 1925, 15 years after launching her line. It should be said that two near C and counterweights have remained the same, despite decades. It should be said that Coco Chanel was not the first woman in history to use the symbol in question. French Queen Claude used a similar symbol in the royal palace Chateau Royal de Blois and also her bride, Catherine de Medici.
What about Chanel's logo?
One of the hypotheses supposes that it is nothing but the initials of Coco Chanel inverted and intertwined together, a hypothesis that somewhat carries reservations as the true name of the fashion icon was Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel. "Coco" it was just a nickname set by the local soldiers who followed her cafes' performances over a short period of time as a singer.
Another theory is that the logo was set up as soon as Coco Chanel visited the Château de Crémat castle in Nice, France, where he often was present at parties organized by her friend, Irene Bretz.

We continue with the next theory, which says that the origin of the trademark creation can be found in the glass windows of the Chapel of Aubazine monastery, where Chanel spent a good part of his childhood.
Others feel that it is C- [Coco] Chanel's and C's of Capel, Arthur Capel, who was Chanel's love of life and co-founder of the fashion house, business partner ( though Chanel paid him back for the investment he made).
