It seems that since the beginning of her romance with the singer Justin Bieber, the famous couple has faced a lot of negativity, according to the model, precisely from people who did not believe in their love.
In a recent interview with W Magazine, Hailey talked about all the hate they've been getting even though it's not something she's gotten used to over the years.
“People have made me feel really bad about my relationship since day one. “Oh, they're having a couple crisis. They hate each other. They're getting divorced." It's like people don't want to believe that we're happy," she told the magazine, adding that she often tried to distance herself from people's approach, but has finally decided to give in and let go of the fact that such things expressed by people are normal and acceptable.
"I tried to act like it hurt less and less," she continued. "I've tried to get used to this negativity of people, until a certain point, when I realized that these statements really affected me and bothered me quite a bit," added Bieber.
Justin and Hailey became engaged in 2018 and married the same year in a courthouse ceremony. A year later, the two had a second ceremony where many celebrities were invited. Now, the couple is expecting their first child together, a detail they shared virtually with everyone in May through some cute photos and videos.
Hailey also talked about her pregnancy and trying to keep it a secret from the world.
"I could hide it until the end. I felt like I was hiding a big secret and it didn't feel right. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life," she concluded.
