Egla Ceno, in a statement for the show "Goca dhe Gra" on Top Channel, spoke about the court's decision that found her guilty of defamation against Saimir Kodra, whom she claimed had sexually harassed her.
Egla said she is waiting for the court's decision to be announced, but added that she will not surrender.
"I do not undertake to speak about the court's decision, it has not yet been made public. The lawyer called me, I was not present at the hearing myself, the lawyer told me that I am being sentenced as guilty and I am forced to write a refutation in a media outlet, this is the sentence that the lawyer told me was made. The decision has not been made public, it is not known on what grounds," she said.
She added that this story is more than personal, it is a social cause, so she emphasized that she will appeal the decision.
"I will appeal, I will see it through to the end, now more than ever. I wish I had done it sooner, but there is no set time for that."
"I said it on "Big Brother" because the conditions weren't right to talk about it before, it didn't appeal to my brain. The context I was in, the context I came out in, was in the context of an organized conversation with letters, where this topic was discussed, and I brought my experience," said Egla.
