Euro 2024 starts with records! Nedim Bajrami scores the fastest goal

Nedim Bajrami is a record breaker! The footballer needed only 22 seconds to score the first goal for Albania and set the record for the fastest goal in a match for the European Cup.

Bajrami surpassed the record set by Dimitri Kirichenko, who scored a goal in the first 67 seconds, in the Russia-Greece match in 2004.

Another quick goal has entered the history of Euro 2020, when Luke Shaw scored in 1 minute and 56 seconds, in the England - Italy match.

Bajrami, who plays for Sassuolo in Italy, lifted the hearts of Albanian fans, although Bastoni scored in the 11th minute. Then, Nicoli Barrella put the Axurri ahead in the 16th minute.
