Actress Elia Zaharia has revealed the reason why on social networks, specifically Instagram, she still carries the surname of her ex-husband, Prince Leka, even though they are separated (even with much fanfare).
She explained that it was a technical problem and that it was not her fault. Elia stressed that she had contacted an IT company to remove it, but to no avail.
"I still keep it because it won't go away, it's not up to me. I've been trying for over two years, at more than three very well-known IT companies, to change it, and it doesn't work."
I don't know what's blocking it. It's something technical that even the Instagram and Facebook teams aren't addressing. It has nothing to do with my desire or will. It's just the way it is, I understand that many people may be annoyed and upset by it. But it has nothing to do with my will or desire. In every job I've done, I've had my last name, Zaharia. I haven't worked with any other last name."
She also emphasized that people should not be bothered by this fact, as her daughter also bears this surname.
"For those who may raise questions, until it is resolved, let them think that it is Geraldine's surname, the girl's. We have to be promoting the work, so I have not opened another Instagram. It has its own difficulty, but it is not impossible," the actress said.
Elia Zaharia and Prince Leka officially broke up in May of this year. The latter has started a new romance with photographer, Blerta Celibashi.
