Although their relationship seems more strained than ever, David Beckham chose to make a public gesture for his son on his birthday. The former footballer wished Brooklyn a happy 27th birthday on social media, just weeks after the latter declared that he does not want reconciliation with the family.
David Beckham posted two old family photos on Instagram Stories. In one, he and Victoria are seen holding baby Brooklyn, while in the other, David poses with his son.

In the post's description, he briefly wrote:
"27 today. Happy birthday, Bust. We love you."

Brooklyn is celebrating his birthday in Los Angeles, thousands of miles away from his famous parents. Meanwhile, David and Victoria Beckham are in Paris for the designer's latest collection show.
Brooklyn's birthday comes just weeks after his conflict with his parents became public. In a lengthy statement on Instagram, he confirmed rumors of a rift between them and said he doesn't want to reconcile with them.
On January 19, Brooklyn accused his family of trying to ruin his relationship with Nicola Peltz Beckham. He claimed that on his wedding day, Victoria canceled Nicola's wedding dress at the last minute and "stole" their first dance as a couple. He also didn't spare his father and two brothers in the lengthy story.
Since then, while he has chosen not to speak about the family drama, his actions have spoken louder than words. He has reportedly removed almost every tattoo dedicated to his family, suggesting that even if a reunion does happen, it will only be if Victoria and David try hard enough.
Neither David nor Victoria Beckham have publicly commented on their son's allegations.
