Netizens linked the supermodel's pose to the image of Baphomet, a symbolic creature associated with the devil in historical records dating back to the 14th century.
“This is Gisele on the cover of Vogue. When did satanism become the favorite pose of celebrities?" asked one user.
Another said:
"Note the similarity of the expression on her arms, the implied horn, formed by the lines of the letters O and G, the clothing and the colors," said another.
Those who have fully embraced this theory have even argued that the name Gisele means "promise or pledge", claiming that she is a satanic witch.
