Drini Zeqo recounts the challenges of his life: "During these years there

Drini Zeqo, in an interview on "Ftesë se 5", shared details of his private life, starting with the divorce of his parents, the loss of his father and the health of his sister.

Drini said that the parents separated and the weight of the divorce is very heavy. "My parents were going through a difficult divorce situation. That being said, sometimes you don't expect some weight to fall on your shoulders that you are not ready to take. It's very difficult when you talk to them on the phone and hear the mother's voice, the trembling voice".

The journalist confessed that he returned from Germany, never to return. "They separated, their divorce happened, not very easily, with some vicissitudes. I don't believe that couples separate peacefully, peaceful separations can be rare", to continue that the sister was younger and was affected by her parents' divorce and maybe she felt it more.

He said that there have been many ups and downs in life, but the loss of his father was the strongest:

"It started a difficult path for me, my mother and my sister. Life became difficult. Work, from that moment in 2004, was no longer a luxury. Half of my income since then has gone to the family. During these years there have been many ups and downs, but the strongest was the loss of my father. It was a normal relationship, the problems were taken care of, but it wasn't there. The loss of his life was difficult, and since we no longer had him, we focused all our love on my mother."

He stated that his father did not have a disease and the cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage:

"The circumstances were difficult, he didn't suffer from anything, he died at a young age, about 56 years old, he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage in the office and we couldn't even say the last words to each other", indicating that he fell into a coma for three days and after he passed away. "I was forced to increase the intensity of my work, the media takes a little energy, it takes time", said Drini.

He also spoke about his sister's health:

"Sister's problems are a very common thing everywhere, but little is talked about. It starts with some small signs to get worse. Sometimes they start with that fatigue, to continue to the situation where you will not have contact with the outside world and contact with the doctor is necessary. We're in a situation, she's a grown girl who's mature enough to handle it, that's half the job."

Furthermore, he has shown how his sister experienced his departure from "BBVA 3":

"A very strange process has happened to me, how many people have told me how good it was that you spoke about it because many people are afraid and anxious to accept it. All this great wave of this support is related to the fact that people have a hard time accepting it. She was seeing me, she was pleased, she was even enjoying it. That day I found him watching "Big Brother" and he was surprised, he didn't expect that I had decided to leave "Big Brother". I hugged him. I decided to stay close to him".

The journalist confessed about the loss of his father even during his stay at "BBVA 3", while talking with the contestants Sara Gjordeni:

"I had many episodes, very difficult. And the loss of my father was... we parted like that without speaking at all because he had a cerebral hemorrhage and spent only 3 days in a coma and we couldn't talk to him at all," he said.

"It was a bit of a sudden and strained breakup and there was everything in between, you understand. When everything remains in between, as if cut with a knife and you..."

Drini lost his father in 2015, when he was presenting the program "Tú sí que vales" on Vizion Plus.

"These have been very difficult days. Yesterday I lost a life partner that every boy cannot replace. A friend with whom you sometimes argue and sometimes agree, but who loves you more than anyone in the world. He gave me an important lecture, this time without speaking as he knew how to do. We must live life with the sincerity of what we feel, leave nothing for tomorrow and live in the present. Life is very unfair sometimes, but it must be lived with every good or bad," he said at the time.
