A letter written in 1997, exactly when the late Princess Diana passed away, has been auctioned and bought by a citizen who preferred to remain anonymous. According to People, the previously unpublished letter written by King Charles (then still Prince Charles) talks about the emotions and "unbearable emptiness" he felt after Diana's death.
Charles has sent this letter to his friend Peter Houghton to comfort him after the death of his partner. The letter was sold at auction for two thousand dollars, according to the DailyMail.
In the letter, Charles writes that "his heart bleeds" and that he can imagine the "agony" after losing a loved one, although he wishes he had a magic wand to completely change the situation.
The letter, written by Charles, is headed "Highgrove House" and is dated December 8, 1997. Diana died in a car accident on August 31 of that year. The three-page letter signed "Charles" was enclosed in an envelope and hand-delivered to the auctioneer, according to the Daily Express.

The letter seems to be a testimony of the experiences of King Charles, especially after the tragic death of Lady Diana.
"Now we see through a glass darkly and then face to face," he wrote. "Personally, I believe there is another dimension beyond the body, and we will be surprised when we finally discover it," Charles' post concludes.
