In an interview for "The Dalina Show" , the missing duo, Aulona and Fatma, as they usually do when they get together, did not spare any sting on various topics. By now you may have heard about the uproar caused by Aulona's statement about Beniada, but before we explain it further, here are some more stings from them:
1. Aulona for "Goca & Gra" and Fatma's co-moderation with other colleagues:
"It was very difficult there. I mean, it was watching your ex cheat on you with three other women. I suffered 'Goca & Gra'. I was upset that this [Fatma] was mine," she said jokingly.
2. Why "Thumb" did not continue within Top Channel
Fatma explained the policy behind the rejection of the show as an internal production of Top Channel:
"We had 'Thumb' as our own production. From previous experiences with television, where anything can happen with a snap of the fingers, we didn't have the confidence. It's like your child, you can't give it away."
Aulona, ??however, reflected with questions:
"For me, it's one of the things I question, that maybe, maybe, if we had made a different choice... there could have been another, more successful journey."
3. The opportunity for opinion pieces on "Big Brother"
The fact that their names were mentioned as potential commentators was openly commented on.
Fatima:
"When we were at Top Show Magazine, they told us 'your names are being included to be opinionators on Big Brother'. We never asked for it ourselves and I think it's a mistake."
Aulona:
"I like 'Big Brother'. I would have liked to be an opinion piece. I would have liked to have been more of a 'Big Brother' presenter."
Fatima:
"I would love to be an opinion columnist, but I have some reservations because I want to do it the way I really think and feel rather than sticking to certain scenarios..."
4. Criticism of television formats
Aulona did not spare sincerity with the following comments:
"On a reality show, you really show how much of a lady you are. I really liked Luana on 'Love Island', but I think she's much more funny and positive than she should be for a format like Ferma."
Fatma approved:
"For me, Luana was very good at 'See Who's Playing', for the collaborators she chose there, she was very wise."
5. And finally, Beniada and the Albanian language on television
Aulona added another sting for Beniada:
"For me, the fact that Beniada hosts an afternoon show when he doesn't know how to speak Albanian properly, on public television..."
Fatma supported:
"On Albanian public television, one of the main rules is to speak fluent, pure Albanian, because it is the television of all Albanians."
At the end of the entire interview, the question could not be missed if the duo would return with a real Thumb this time. The proposal happened, from Aulona herself and they gave a "YES". However, as to how, when, and where, Aulona and Fatma did not give us many details.
