What is the five hour rule that successful people use

Nowadays, there are many ready tips, tricks or lessons learned from billionaires and successful people from every corner of the world. But there is one piece of advice that is seen as more practical and productive in people who apply it. It is otherwise called the "five-hour rule" and it was originally the entrepreneur Michael Simmons who invented it.

The idea is that a person should spend five times a week (roughly an hour a day) learning or practicing something new. It seems like something quite simple, but nowadays with the frenetic pace between work, commitments, trips or family, it seems difficult to find these five hours that can change your life. However, with a little practice you can apply the five-hour rule to your life. There are many examples of how to apply it, while among modern entrepreneurs and successful people this rule is associated with three options: reading, reflection and experimentation. Reading a newspaper, magazine or something on electronic devices is "food for the brain" and this is a ritual that you should turn into a daily habit if you want to see results.

Reflecting on certain decisions, difficult moments in your life or the people around you are another model of "investing" in things that you can change by paying attention to them. Whereas, the experiment is more about trying something new: a different activity, a volunteer job, changing the schedule for a task or job, etc.

Obstacles that arise in following this rule

Let's be honest from the start! It is not always an easily applicable rule, especially when it comes to women who have a series of daily commitments, from cooking, cleaning, shopping, home or children. But success is in setting priorities and why not you can practice this rule by moderating all other obligations.
