How many of you experience that typical moment when, after a tiring and busy day at work, you curl up in the white sheets of your bed, to feel warm and cozy, as you just feel exhausted.
The feeling of relief goes beyond this perception, which experts call a "happiness attack" and is one of the latest trends circulating on TikTok.
In fact, it's kind of cute to think how many people experience such an attack while lying in bed, but what causes it and why do we all do it? Sleep expert Shelby Harris, also director of a line dedicated to these issues, says that a happiness attack is a feeling of joy that comes over you when you go to bed.

It seems strange to have such a reaction, but there is a simple explanation: "Having a 'bliss attack' or feeling really happy when you go to bed at the end of the day is because it's finally time to 'calmed down. So the day is officially over and it's time to relax,'" she tells Bustle.
The bed gives a sense of security and this can also add doses of pleasure, especially if you have been stressed. "It's a personal concept, but felt by many people, that sleep time equals happiness and relaxation," says Harris.
On TikTok, many people say they experience stronger bouts of happiness even when they're down spiritually. Bouts of happiness can be strong after you've had a busy day, so if you happen to sleep better that night, it might just be because you were really exhausted.
Is this really a universal experience?

It's hard to say whether or not everyone experiences bouts of happiness, or if everyone experiences them in the same way, but according to Harris, many people can relate to the sense of relief that comes with going to bed after a long day. full of commitments. Like many of the TikTok experiences, when you find out you're not the only one smiling and rolling in bed with relief, it's a feeling that seems to connect you with many other virtual strangers.
