Public health experts along with other professionals have started work on setting up vaccination centers.
The first anti-Covid vaccination center is the one created at the "Air Albania" stadium.
How will the vaccination be done in this center, so that there are no queues and is there enough staff?
The head of the vaccination sector at the Institute of Public Health, Erida Nelaj, in an interview for Wake Up says that at the moment there are 20 vaccination places and that there are enough staff.
"It is just the beginning, as there will be 60 places where the vaccination will take place. Each country will have two nurses. A nurse who will carry out the vaccination and a nurse, who is called a "support nurse" and helps to document, the procedure and to see the amount of vaccine, because this is a vaccine that has the amount of 0.3 ç in the syringe, so very little. "
Mrs. Nelaj adds:
"Before the person comes for vaccination, he has a form that he will fill in and it is related to his health status, if he suffers from a chronic disease, if he has any allergies, etc. "Except for the nurses, everyone will first go to a doctor before being vaccinated."
The vaccination process will start first with the health personnel and mainly, those in the front line. The staff also has its own form, which is given in advance or at the entrance.
"Even before that, there is a coordinator. For every 2-3 vaccination sites there is a coordinator, who organizes the people. Each country has its own number and the coordinator will orient the people according to these numbers. "
Meanwhile, in another area, away from the vaccination site, all people will stay for 15-30 minutes after getting the vaccine.
"After each vaccine is given, the rule is to stay for about 20 minutes, just to check if there will be any side effects. "This procedure, as a rule, should be followed with every vaccine, not just this one against Covid."
For allergies, a kind of control is done from the beginning. Meanwhile, taking into account that people with chronic or concomitant diseases will be vaccinated at the beginning, it becomes even more important to stay after vaccination.
"There will be doctors, ambulances and everything for monitoring after the vaccination process, but I do not believe that there will be problems, considering that there have been no problems in any case where vaccinations have been made abroad."
Regarding the vaccination process, Erida Nelaj said that "online trainings are being done and physical training will be done".
After Tirana, there will be two other vaccination centers in Vlora and Shkodra.
