Hair trends have surprised us in many ways this year, from suggested colors and drastic changes, to short cuts or throwbacks to the 90s or early 2000s.
One of the most discussed is styling with side bangs. In other words, the whole bang is cut and styled on one side of the face. But there is a catch.
Specialists say that there are no strict rules to decide whether or not this cut suits your face shape. It's important to experiment with different styles you can do to see if they work for you.
If you have an oval face, don't think at all, any cut will suit you. Whereas if you have a long and angular face, a deep parting should be created that does not create more length in the appearance of the face, but makes it appear wide.
The same theory applies to round faces. For square faces, it's good to emphasize the graduation of the bangs at the end to fill the space between the sides of the hair and the chin or neck.
To style them, use a comb and blow dryer, straightener or tongs, but always try to give volume to the bangs.
