After a forensic analysis, the FBI revealed that the body found in Grand-Teton Park in Wyoming belongs to 22-year-old Gabby Petito , who disappeared in late August while traveling with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie, in the van Theirs.
Teton county forensic pathologist Brent Blue determined that the manner of her death was murder, but did not disclose further details as the final autopsy results have not yet been released. Gabby's body was found Sunday in an undeveloped area of ??the park, surrounded by shrubs and trees.

The FBI also requested that anyone with information about Brian Laundrie's role in Gabby's death contact the agency. Investigators consider Brian a "person of interest." His parents told FBI agents they saw him a week ago when he was told he was planning to walk alone in an area near North Port, Florida.
Authorities are using helicopters, drones, dogs and vehicle officers across the terrain to search for Brian.
In July, Gabby and Brian Laundrie embarked on a journey in their van. They posted photos and videos of the trip on Instagram and YouTube. Then, on September 1, Brian returned from the trip alone. Ten days later, Gabby's family reported that she was missing.
The event became the most talked about in the US, in large part because of the awareness created by people on social media.
Utah authorities published in the media a recording of a call to 911 on August 12, the date when several police officers stopped the couple. "We passed by car and the gentleman was hitting the girl," the caller tells a 911 operator. "Then we stopped. They ran. He kept hitting him, got in the car and they left."
Police have discovered that before disappearing, Gabby sent numerous text messages and had many conversations with her mother via cell phone during the trip, where it was noticed that there was more and more tension between the couple.
