The traditional holiday season for many Europeans from northern countries, usually late July and August, may not be more convenient due to rising temperatures. Tropical nights, where the temperature does not drop more than 20 degrees Celsius, are on the rise and this can negatively affect.
Researchers in Spain are concerned about the damage to the tourism industry and are proposing that the peak of the summer season be shifted to June, to adapt to the new climate reality.
For many people, these changes are already a new reality. British, Scandinavian and German retirees have recently preferred to visit Mediterranean countries, mainly Greece, Spain and Italy, in spring and autumn, when temperatures are not too high.
However, families with children are also a problem due to school. School holidays are set based on the weather, but it seems that something like this is no longer valid. With rising temperatures, the possibility that the school season may have changes to adapt to the climate is not ruled out.
