Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich have ended their engagement, according to a reliable source of People.
"It was a difficult decision, but Demi and Max have decided to follow separate paths to focus on their respective careers," said the source. "They have respect and love for each other and will always appreciate the time they have spent together."
The split comes two months after Ehrich proposed to Demi in Malibu and 10 days after the release of several screenshots in which it is alleged that some time ago, Max offended Demi and boasted about Selena Gomez. After the photos circulated online, Demi reacted by considering the posts "false".
Max and Demi have not deleted the photos from their profiles on social networks and have not reacted yet.
