As a start, remember to:
- Use hair conditioner
In addition to the softness it gives to the hair and the fact that it somewhat facilitates the combing process, the hair conditioner makes the hair "absorb" water better, drying it faster.
- Gather hair at the end of the shower
At the end of the shower, gather the hair and squeeze it to remove all the excess water.
Here are some ways to dry your hair without damaging it:
1. Use a large cotton blouse
After the shower, remove the excess water with a towel. Next, take a (white) cotton blouse and place the hair in the width of the blouse, wrap it and let it dry.
2. If using dryers: focus on the roots
To avoid burning the ends of the hair, be sure to place the dryer more in the root area. Apart from the fact that the hair will be damaged less, by drying only the root at the beginning, the rest will also dry faster. Caution: do not use a very high heat level.
3. Allow to dry
This tip is valuable if you are in the spring / summer and after the shower, you will stay home. Remove excess water, then leave the hair released or held very lightly until it dries on its own.
