The shocking story of the sexual abuse of a 15-year-old took on great media proportions and often went so far as to abuse the privacy of a minor. Various media outlets reported footage from the apartment where she lived, her name, family photos. The girl's relatives, namely the father and the brother, were interviewed by the show "With an open heart" on News24, a show that dared to broadcast footage of the abuse of the 15-year-old, in front of family members and viewers.

Currently, the video of the interview between the father and the girl's brother has been deleted from the YouTube channel of the show, but various portals, such as IconStyle and News31.al, reported that during the show, moments of abuse of the girl were broadcast, which, although blurred, do not absolve themselves of responsibility for the show that goes against any human rights law and privacy.

Through online comments, citizens emphasize that even if the family members have given permission for the broadcast of the video, we are still dealing with an act of violation of privacy, especially when it comes to a minor, a victim of repeated rape by several people. .
Altin Hazizaj, one of the founders of the Center for the Protection of Children's Rights, which cooperates with ECPAT - a global network of organizations that aims to combat, among other things, the sexual exploitation of children - sharply criticized the show "With an open heart" saying :
"This is not the JOURNALIST! This is ridicule and trampling on the life of a 15-year-old. It's a shame to be famous for the lives of vulnerable people and, moreover, victims of sexual violence! ?
In her communiqué to the Assembly, the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Besa Shahini, said:
"I urge the AMA not to expect incitement from us, but to take an active priority in protecting sexually abused minors who are being abused for the second time by the media, which reveals identifying details about the victims - a clear violation of this and that basic rights of children.
You know what all our students who have faced sexual harassment or abuse have told us, without exception: ?Please, protect our anonymity! Please protect us from journalists because we don't want to appear on TV. "
So far, the Audiovisual Media Authority has not reacted to the show. We have to go that although the interviews of the two family members were conducted with the back of the camera, on Facebook, the show published articles where the portrait of the girl's father is clearly visible, thus revealing data of her identity.

A psychologist, who preferred to remain anonymous, told Anabel.al that the role of the media in such events is completely different.
"The media, reflecting the case with identifying details, exposing family members, treating the event unprofessionally, does not contribute at all in favor of the cause. How can another girl who has experienced the same situation be helped if she sees the media coverage of the event? The media must inform what sexual violence is, sensitize people not to blame the victim, show the services provided to the victims, etc. Such shows do not alleviate the situation, on the contrary, they make it worse. ?
Three years ago, the show "With an open heart" was fined by the AMA with 200,000 lek because it broadcast a video of a woman in intimate moments with her partner, claiming that the actions were committed in front of the children.
