Today, the news started circulating that "Portokalli" will leave Top Channel after 17 years. Sources for the Juda.al portal said that the comedy show has been offered agreements on other televisions and that director Altin Basha has been seen in ABC studios. New, though closer to an agreement is RTV Ora.
Altin Basha has denied such a claim, denying his departure during an interview with Panorama. According to him, such a rumor has started after the director was seen on the premises of Abc News TV
"I have been dealing with the Theater these days and I have appeared in some media. I have been called for interviews and statements on the Theater issue. They have seen me park my car on ABC News, I have entered and met the director of information."
As for the departure and the new name alluded to as "Mandarina", the director categorically denied it, saying that "Orange" continues on Top Channel and that the actors are all at work preparing for the show.
The problem for some people is that they work elsewhere and have their minds set on Orange. The truth is that I went to Abc News to do an interview for the Theater. Apparently, someone has seen this and misunderstood it as a negotiation because of the rumors that have spread. The offer is always there. I have offers from television every year. And because I'm the director of the troupe, I'm required to do that. Actors are required. Just because we are obsessed with Top-Channel, we have no interest in other offers. Only now there have been 4 televisions interested in our show. That doesn't mean it's a normal process. "
