In an interview with Opinion, the Minister of Tourism, Blendi Klosi, spoke about some of the most discussed issues of the moment regarding tourism and holidays.
For medical passports:
"In the discussions we have with the World Tourism Organization, where I have been part of several conferences, the medical passport is becoming more and more important. So, more than the name and surname, it will be verified what analyzes he has done and where he comes from. ?
For beaches:
"In terms of graphics, we are focused on tourism in the period July-August-September, and if this period is not hit, we can start. We have ready the measures that businesses must take, the spaces and the distances that they must respect. ?
E-albania beach permits:
"Permits will be obtained for the structures [not from vacationers], the beach will continue with restrictions."
For weddings:
"There will be weddings, but with the conditions of coronavirus. The wedding [in the sense of the ceremony] will be difficult because it depends on how the situation will go. The wedding can be done, but the wedding is questionable. It will be difficult because they are massive and difficult to control because the distance is not respected. "
Following the interview, the minister said that if the flights resume next month, Albania could host the first tourists at the end of May, but that remains to be seen, as not all tourism structures are ready to resume operations. .
