Last month, Prince Andrew became the headliner of the news after first addressing the company of Jeffrey Epstein, the 66-year-old billionaire who was charged with multiple sex crimes and killed himself in his cell.
Epstein was charged with sex trafficking of minor girls.
The link to Prince Andrew and Epstein came after some images of the prince in the billionaire's villa were released in 2010. The prince gave an interview to BBC Newsnight to clarify the situation, but simply exacerbated the situation. He gave up all royal duties.
Today, Virginia Giuffre, formerly Virginia Roberts, the girl alleged to have sexually abused Prince Andrea, gave an interview to Panorama TV. She said they brought her to the UK when she was 17, specifically to have sex with Prince Andrew. "I urge people in the UK not to consider such an action as normal," she said.
Buckingham Palace responded to Giuffre's interview with a press release.
"We categorically deny allegations that the Duke of York has had sex with any other kind with Virginia Roberts," the statement said Monday night. "Any allegation to the contrary is false and unfounded."
