Hermes Nikaj, who was arrested by police on charges of prostitution and exploitation of prostitution, spoke for the first time after the sensational incident.
According to BalkanWeb, Nikaj said: ?I have not used prostitution nor have I used anyone for prostitution. Everything happened against the will, not against the money. Being known, I had more contacts and introduced them to my girlfriends and helped them get to the hotel. ?
Police also questioned that they were part of this and that they had admitted to prostitution and explained how the scheme worked.
Nikaj was arrested after a six-month investigation by Tirana police and prosecutors. Nikaj is said to have used the girls for prostitution for payments ranging from 100 to 500 euros. It is suspected that he played the role of manager and used some aesthetic centers where girls were used for sexual favors.
