We don't know much about Soni Malaj, but we do know one thing like the light of day: Her ballads like "Sharing" or "Twin Souls" have entered our hearts so deeply that they are hard to forget. Admittedly, we miss Sonny finding the right word for the brokenhearted or the lover, so we rejoiced to hear that in this edition of "Magic Song," she returns with a ballad. But wait, there's more! The artist really intends to bring back the taste of her successes, working again with Maki, the Macedonian composer who brought the gem "Sharing" (Winning Best Song at "Top Fest 3") and "I Love You" (remember we "You are half of me in this life").
The song is called "Taste of Betrayal" and talks about a guy who betrays and then apologizes (we all know such a guy, sadly) and the lyrics were written by Ilir Berani, Gil's husband and one of the best songwriters in Kosovo.
When we told you in the title that this ballad has a super team we were not lying. The orchestration was performed by Shpetim Saracci and for the first time, at an Albanian music festival, Saracci collaborated with his son, Drin (of course he had no other resemblance, the talented Drin!). And as if all these big names weren't enough, Soni took the song and mastered it in Italy with one of the best, Marco Borsati. Let's say the whole packaging is top notch, now just wait to hear it on Sunday (November 24, 2019) during the "Magic Song" section on "Albanian Sunday". And while you wait, grab some handbags and remember these memorable artist ballads once again.
