A few minutes ago a strong earthquake shook the capital. According to preliminary data, published on the Balkan Web the earthquake was 5.8 magnitude. The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Adriatic Sea, 1km from the city of Durres is felt throughout the cities of the country.
After the first shocks, a few minutes later, another shake is again felt, less intense than the first. The powerful earthquake has created panic in people by leaving their homes or workplaces and going outside to be safer.
So far, thankfully there is no record of injured people or serious material damage.
