The president of France, Emmanuel Macron himself, has sent a message to Prime Minister Rama apologizing for yesterday's gaffes made during the France-Albania sentiment. Regardless of the outcome, what made the most fuss was the 'relatively severe' mistake of the match organizers, who instead of playing the Albanian anthem, decided another leaving the national football players so confused.
It seems that Macron has apologized for what he has called the French Football Federation's intolerable mistake of confusing the Albanian anthem! In addition to apologies, he also praised the reaction and civility shown by the team boys who simply chose to wait in silence (albeit with frowning faces), the launch of our national anthem.
Edi Rama on the other hand, despite calling the gaffe made before the match unacceptable, praised Macron's gesture.
The wrong anthem was not the only gaffe on the part of the organizers. While apologizing for the first mistake, the speaker calls Albania, Armenia and just seconds later corrects the next gaffe.
