Most likely, the first person to arrive on the red planet will be a woman.
Finally, guest on the Science Friday radio show NASA, Jim Bridenstine, raised doubts saying "most likely, the first person on Mars will be a woman".
Bridenstine did not reveal any particular name, but said women have more opportunities. He also responded with an "absolutely" Twitter question saying "Will women be involved in future spatial travel on the moon?"
In fact, he added that the other person who would travel to the moon would be a woman.
"These are great days," said Jim Bridenstine.

Soon, astronauts Anne McClain and Christina Koch will travel together in space.

In 1976, for the first time, NASA received six women in the astronauts' troops, and today they account for about 34% of all active astonists.
