Revolted, Tefta Pajenga or otherwise known as "Mrs Tefta" has reacted with strong criticisms of Hell's Kitchen format at Top Channel and culinary chief Renato McCollit.
"I regret that for the sake of commercialization, in the media are serving ready formats, bad copies of the programs that result very much followed in other countries. The isolation that we have experienced because of communism has led us to the extreme of blind admirers of everything that came from outside. This trend is featured on shows like "Hell's Kitchen" on Top Channel - a copy of the shows by famous British chief Gordon Ramsay. I was eagerly waiting for the show, with the curiosity to see how it would be adapted to Albanian conditions. I can not hide the frustration and suspicion that the format served so to succeed in us. Based on what I saw last night, I'm afraid the show will have a negative impact and as a result young people will step down not to choose this profession for their future! "
Further on, Ms. Tefta continues:
"I've been trying through my shows to watch televiews, education, love for nutrition, and healthy nutrition. Cooking is an important part of Albanian families. Food rating and non-use are the values ??that each mother educates the child. Just as storing old, dried bread or salt is turned into superstition, as symbols that show how bad it is to misuse. Taking food because of the dangers of diseases that could spread in case of not being properly digested, but throwing the meat because instead of a rival, the competitor had prepared two such is scandalous. It is a wasteful act that does not transmit any value to the new kitchen chiefs, who are not using the products and have basic guidance during their education at any culinary institution.
