Jonida Shehu stayed for a while away from the television and decided to return to the public earlier than September. It is said that Jonida will return to Top Channel, with a program that ideates and moderates itself. But besides this, the moderator published on YouTube the first episode of a very ambitious project: a podcast.
Under the name of Jonida Podcast, the project supported by Abi Bank is in the words of the self-styled "an interview library where you will be able to hear stories, conversations, interviews with familiar or unknown characters [...]"
The first episode is the interview of Eleni Foureiras, a few days after the performance in Tirana.
Podcast is called an episodic series of audio or video files that the user can download and listen to. It works on a subscription basis because in this way, followers are notified in time for new episodes. Usually, podcasts are published in audio and video formats followed by video podcasts or vodcasts. As far as content is concerned, podcasts are usually interviews, conversations about events or phenomena, comedies (mostly stand ups) and different stories, confessed by a narrator.
In Albanian only religious podcasts are available and this program on SBS Radio in Australia consists of news in Albanian, not in a proper podcast. In contrast to radio broadcasts, when dubbed podcasts are online, Jonida Podcast is designed to be posted immediately on the Internet.
If you want to listen to other podcasts, you can use your own mobile apps like Google Podcasts or Podcasts on iPhone. In addition to Jonida Podcast with the support of Abi Bank, we recommend 'The New Yorker Radio Hour', 'Sword and Scale' and 'How I Built This'.
