Since splitting from Brad Pitt in 2016, the "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" actress has received fewer projects than normal. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, published on Tuesday, April 20, she states:
"I love directing, but I had a change in family situation that made it impossible for me to continue working for a few years. I needed something shorter, to be more at home, so I went back to acting. truth."
She and Brad share custody of five children, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox, while their eldest son, the first of six children, Maddox, is now 18 years old.
A previous source for E! News, it was said that after the divorce, the couple had put even more priority on the health and happiness of the children, adding to this the difficult period of the pandemic.
"All the kids are home with Angelina, but they have continued to meet Brad and go for visits regularly," the source said.
